Die Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile wurde im Oktober 2018 vorgestellt und ist eine mechanische Gaming-Tastatur mit Cherry MX Low Profile Schaltern. Es ist das erste Mal, dass die flachen Schalter in einer Gaming-Tastatur von Corsair zum Einsatz kommen.

Low Profile Switches sind besonders flache Schalter mit einem geringem Vorlaufweg. Die Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile ist wahlweise mit Cherry MX Low Profile Speed oder Cherry MX Low Profile Red Schaltern verfügbar. Der Weg zum Schaltpunkt ist nur 1.0 mm (Low Profile Speed) bzw. 1.2 mm (Low Profile Red) lang. Durch die Low Profile Schalter fällt auch die Tastatur als ganzes sehr flach aus und ist mit 29 mm die bisher dünnste mechanische Gaming-Tastatur des Herstellers.

Der Funktionsumfang der beiden Tastaturen ist ident, es wurden keine Abstriche bei der Low Profile Variante gemacht. Das heißt die Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile kommt mit RGB-Beleuchtung, Unterstützung für Makros sowie verschiedenste Beleuchtungs-Modi und -Effekte, Full-Key-Rollover, USB-Passthrough, dedizierte Multimedia-Tasten und Volumensteuerung und Aluminium-Rahmen. Ebenso sind eine abnehmbare Handballenablage und zusätzliche Tastenkappen mit strukturierter Oberfläche für FPS- und MOBA-Spiele dabei.
