Razer introduced two new low-profile variants of its BlackWidow V4 series in summer 2025: the Low-Profile HyperSpeed (Full-Size) and the Low-Profile Tenkeyless HyperSpeed (TKL). Both models are characterized by their particularly slim design and wireless connectivity via HyperSpeed and Bluetooth technology.
Low-profile Wireless Razer Keyboards
The new keyboards feature low-profile mechanical switches from Razer, with buyers able to choose between clicky Green switches, tactile Orange switches, or linear Yellow switches. Dual-layer dampening, lubricated stabilizers, and doubleshot PBT keycaps are designed to provide refined acoustics and long durability. The slim build also aims to deliver ergonomic typing comfort.
Connectivity is provided via Razer HyperSpeed (2.4 GHz wireless), Bluetooth, or USB cable. The built-in battery offers up to 980 hours of runtime, and the current charge level can be checked at any time with a simple key press. In addition, the keyboards include a multifunction roller and dedicated control buttons for media and AI functions.
Low-Profile HyperSpeed vs Low-Profile Tenkeyless HyperSpeed
The main difference between the two models lies in the layout: the Low-Profile Tenkeyless HyperSpeed is a more compact keyboard without a number pad, while the Low-Profile HyperSpeed is a full-size model with an extended control section and additional macro keys. Both retain the same features such as the low-profile build, multifunction roller, and wireless connectivity options.

"Razer is appealing to the low-profile fans with its new BlackWidow V4 keyboard, which utilizes brand-new mechanical switches to deliver a comfortable, high-performance typing and gaming experience without all the extra mass. This is a great wireless board for work and play, but it certainly can't be described as quiet - and you'll need to really want a premium low-profile mechanical keyboard to justify spending this much."
