Logitech G413 SE

Logitech G413 SE / TKL SE

The Logitech G413 SE is budget version of the Logitech G413. It is cheaper, but it also has less to offer.

Very Basic Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

For a gaming keyboard in 2022, the Logitech G413 SE is really unspectacular. The keyboard features white lighting and a few basic options to adjust lighting effects and brightness. Beyond that, there are no customization options at all. In other words, you are stuck with the given media controls and there is no possibility of macros or key reassignments. There are not even feet to adjust the keyboard’s height. So overall it is a very basic keyboard. Also, the 6-key rollover of the Logitech G413 SE is not really much, but it will be sufficient for most games.

Cheap Switches, Cheap Price

Most mechanical gaming keyboards from Logitech feature either Romer-G or Logitech GX switches. The Logitech G413 SE is different: the keyboard is built with tactile switches from Long Hua. Most likely due to the goal to keep the costs down. Typing experience is always kind of a subjective matter, but most reviewers did not enjoy the switches. On the plus side, we have PBT keycaps, which are durable and shine resistant. With a starting price of about 80 USD, the Logitech G413 SE is clearly positioned at the entry-level of mechanical gaming keyboards. There are not too many name-brand keyboards in this price-range, so it might be worth considering in some cases. If you are willing to spend a little bit more money though, other options like the HyperX Alloy Origins definitely have a lot more to offer.

Logitech G413 TKL SE

The keyboard is also available as a tenkeyless version. It comes without a numpad and it is a bit cheaper than the full-size-version. Apart from that, there are no differences between the Logitech G413 SE and Logitech G413 TKL SE.

3.5 out of 5 stars

"The Logitech G413 SE is a decent, affordable mechanical gaming keyboard. It’s well built, offering a decent chassis, complete with metal top plate for added durability. Its Brown switches are responsive enough for both gaming and typing, and feel okay for general use, if a little inconsistent at times. The 6-key rollover is a little stingy compared to what other boards provide, while lack of software integration for any form of customisation is disappointing."

"The Logitech G413 is a well-balanced and adorable gaming keyboard with good customization options, decent design, and a great price. It's a wired keyboard though, and those with thicker fingers might not appreciate its narrow keys."

"The Logitech G413 SE is a budget mechanical keyboard with a price of $79.99. But even for that price, it is so barebones that you may regret buying it."

"While the Logitech G413 SE is a workable, minimalist gaming keyboard, this iteration fails to advance on its predecessor in almost every way—most notably, with its subpar-feeling key switches."

"The Logitech G413 SE is one of Logitech’s weaker gaming keyboards, but the reasonable price makes it worth at least your passing consideration."
