The Corsair K100 Air is an ultra-thin mechanical keyboard with rich wireless capabilities. The keyboard was launched on October 4th in 2022.
Thin, Thinner, Corsair K100 Air
One glance at the keyboard is enough to realize how incredible thin the Corsair K100 Air is. With a height of only 17 mm, the keyboard is slimmer than other mechanical low-profile keyboards. The extraordinary flat design is possible thanks to the new Cherry MX Ultra Low Profile Switches. These switches are thin enough to be used for a notebook keyboard despite using a mechanical mechanism with a metal spring. They actuate after only 0.8 mm and have 1.8 mm total travel distance.
Design and Features
The Corsair K100 Air offers without a doubt quite a unique look & feel. The ultra-low-profile keyboard comes within a brushed aluminum frame and full-size layout. Moreover, it offers four programmable macro keys and several dedicated media controls, including a volume wheel. A large status panel in the center top displays eights indicators for battery life, connection, caps lock and more.
All keys of the Corsair K100 Air are RGB-backlit. Countless illumination modes and lighting effects are available, as you would expect in this high-price segment. You can also adjust the lighting on a per-key-basis and create your own unique looks. Illumination settings and key assignments are stored in profiles. Thanks to 8 MB onboard storage, your settings can be stored directly on the keyboard, so you don’t have to reconfigure them when used with a new computer.
Wireless and fast
Corsair’s Slipstream technology enables the K100 Air to communicate with its wireless USB receiver at 2000 Hz polling rate, which is more than many wired keyboards offer. It becomes even faster when connected via USB cable – hyper polling offers up to 8.000 Hz. Moreover, the keyboard also provides support for Bluetooth 4.2. Up to three devices can be paired with the keyboard and simply be switched by press of a button. An integrated battery supplies the keyboard with power while in wireless mode. According to Corsair, one charge of the battery lasts for about 50 hours with RGB illumination or about 200 hours without illumination.

"While the Corsair K100 Air is an exceptional svelte gaming keyboard with impeccable style, there's not much to warrant the $280 price tag against competitors."
October 31, 2022
"The Corsair K100 Air Wireless represents the company’s first full-size wireless mechanical gaming keyboard, and it’s mostly a pleasure to use."
October 26, 2022
"As a showcase of Cherry’s thinnest switches, the K100 Air is interesting. But it won’t outperform any gaming keyboard, despite being the most expensive one on the market."
October 6, 2022
"If you want a keyboard with that wow factor, that is one of the most premium keyboards that Corsair has ever produced, then this is it. The typing experience on the K100 Air Wireless is phenomenal and the board is backed up by Corsair's solid iCUE software. However, it is slightly let down by average build quality and a very steep price tag."

"The Corsair K100 Air Wireless RGB offers an incredibly thin form factor with a genuine mechanical keyboard feel. It comes at a high price, but is feature rich and feels great to game on."
October 4, 2022
"The Corsair K100 Air Wireless might have just blown away the likes of the Logitech G915 and Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro, which is saying a lot, and for not much more in price. This gaming keyboard is thinner, faster, better to type on, and comes with a lot more features."

"If you can justify the cost, the K100 Air Wireless is a fantastic portable gaming keyboard."
October 4, 2022
"The Corsair K100 Air Wireless is undoubtedly one of the best (and most expensive) wireless gaming keyboards money can buy. It’s incredibly slim and offers a modern aesthetic alongside snappy and tactile MX ULP switches that feel fantastic for both typing and gaming. In addition, 50 hours of battery life is pretty decent, and the RGB backlighting is vibrant. Just note its high markup only makes it a worthwhile purchase if money is no issue."

"The Corsair K100 Air Wireless boasts superb performance, but is far too expensive for its feature set."
October 4, 2022
"Corsair's stylish K100 Air Wireless keyboard is packed to the brim with functionality despite its razor-thin frame, but it's almost $300, and its ultra-low-profile keys aren't ideal for gaming."
