About two and a half years after the debut of the Fnatic Streak / Fnatic Ministreak, the organization launches a third version of its successful keyboard: The Fnatic Streak65 follows the trending 60-percent / 65-percent keyboards and represents a very compact mechanical keyboard optimized for mobility.
Low-Profile Keyboard with Own Brand Switches
Common for keyboards with such form factor, the Fnatic Streak65 has neither dedicated function keys nor media keys. They are available as secondary functions on other keys though. As a special feature, the keyboard further has four macro keys just above the right arrow key. They can be used to execute complex input sequences or to simply perform their default actions delete, insert, page up and page down.
The Streak65 is not only smaller than a common keyboard but also quite flat with a height of only 28 mm. This was achieved by the use of low-profile keycaps and Fnatic’s Low-Profile Speed Switch. This switch is a special version of the linear Kailh low-profile switch Choc V2. It has a very short actuation distance and it is rather quiet.
Suited for Gaming and Work
The Fnatic Streak65 is promoted as an ultra-compact gaming keyboard for esports. It offers many features valued by gamers, such as RGB illumination, support for multiple profiles, onboard storage, macro keys and a competitive mode (game mode). The keyboard is also quite suited for use at work though. Its switches offer a solid typing experience and low noise-level. Additionally, the detachable USB cable and the low weight make transportation of the keyboard very convenient.
Fnatic Streak65 LP
By the end of 2021, Fnatic Gear introduced an updated version: the Fnatic Streak 65 LP. Compared to previous Streak65, the new keyboard offers doubleshot PBT keycaps, which are more durable and shine resistant. Moreover, there have been some small updates to the cable and to the acoustics of the keyboard. The new Fnatic Streak65 LP is available in black or white color option.
