The brand Roccat was created by René Korte, industrial engineer and one of the first professional gamers in Germany. The motivation: existing mice and keyboards did not meet his high demands. So he started a company to create products for demanding gamers like himself. Roccat’s first mechanical keyboard was the Roccat Ryos back in 2013. Since then, many other models followed, the brand (today belonging to Turtle Beach) is very popular in the gaming sector.
