Introduction of new Dual-LED Technology
Roccat’s Vulcan series has become well known for its outstanding RGB lighting. The manufacturer uses switches with transparent housing and slim keycaps, so that lighting effects are bright and vibrant. With the Vulcan II Mini, Roccat takes one step further in improving keyboard illumination and introduces its new dual-LED technology. A dual-LED switch contains two LEDs in one switch and makes it possible to light up a key’s primary legend and secondary legend in different styles. This feature is particularly handy for the Vulcan II Mini, as it is a small 65% keyboard where many features are only available via secondary functions.
Small Gaming Keyboard with Optical Switches
Another feature that distinguishes the Vulcan II Mini from other keyboards is the use of optical switches. The keyboard features linear Titan II Optical switches, those are the successors of the optical switches used in the Vulcan Pro. Moreover, the Vulcan II Mini provides a detachable USB cable, full n-key-rollover, 4 MB onboard-storage for profiles and a polling rate of 1000 Hz.
