In April 2021, Corsair revealed the K70 RGB TKL, the first non-full-size keyboard of the K70 series. In summer 2022, the company went one step further and introduced the Corsair K70 Pro Mini Wireless – a small, wireless, mechanical gaming keyboard featuring a 60% form factor.
Gaming Keyboard with Cherry MX Switches
The Corsair K70 Pro Mini Wireless is available with either Cherry MX Speed or Cherry MX Red switches. Both switch types feature a linear travel path and are popular choices for gaming. Despite its small size, the keyboard is crammed with many features such as RGB lighting, win-lock, n-key rollover, hardware profile-storage and Corsair’s well-known iCUE configuration software.
Wireless and Fast
Not only occupies the K70 Pro Mini truly little space on your desk, but it also helps avoiding tangled wires. The keyboard can communicate via so-called Slipstream wireless technology to an USB dongle. Or alternatively simply use Bluetooth. One charge of the integrated battery lasts up to 32 hours with activated illumination and up to 200 hours with all lightings disabled.
Hot-Swappable: A lot of Options for Individualization
Mechanical keyboard often come with various possibilities for customization and individualization. Some examples include individual lighting settings, macros, swappable keycaps and the choice of different switch types. With the K70 Pro Mini Wireless, Corsair takes this to a new level and includes hot-swappable switches, something we have rarely seen from major gaming brands so far. This means, you can easily change the switches of the keyboard without the need of soldering / desoldering. A keyswitch puller is included. It’s also worth noting, that the keyboard features a standard bottom row. This is also convenient when you only want to change some of the keycaps. A keycap puller and two extra keycaps for the spacebar and the ESC-key are included. So overall, the K70 Pro Mini Wireless encourages to craft and experiment – how will your final keyboard look like?
