The Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed is a mechanical gaming keyboard in a TKL format that combines wireless multi-device connectivity with hot-swappable switches. It has been available since summer 2025.
Wireless Connectivity
The keyboard offers two wireless connection options: 2.4 GHz wireless (“Razer HyperSpeed”) and Bluetooth. With Bluetooth, up to three devices can be paired simultaneously, allowing seamless switching between them. A Razer wireless mouse can also be operated together with the keyboard using just a single wireless dongle. In power-saving mode, the BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed can achieve a battery life of up to 980 hours. The battery status can be checked at any time by pressing a button, with the number row lighting up to indicate the charge level.
Build and Features
The keyboard comes pre-installed with Razer Orange switches (Gen-3), which provide a tactile typing experience. Thanks to the hot-swap function, however, any other 3-pin and 5-pin switches can be installed without soldering. To optimize acoustics, dual-layer sound dampening and PCB tape are used.
The keyboard includes a multifunctional rotary knob and three dedicated buttons for media control, volume, and battery status. Using Razer Synapse software, keys can be individually remapped. The Chroma RGB lighting comes with many preconfigured effects and supports over 300 games. An internal white steel plate is designed to further enhance the lighting effects. Additional gaming-oriented features include a gaming mode, macro recording, and Razer Snap Tap, which prioritizes the last key pressed when multiple keys are activated simultaneously. Furthermore, the BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed offers full N-key rollover, onboard profile storage, doubleshot ABS keycaps, and an aluminum top case.
