The K63 is a compact mechanical gaming keyboard presented by Corsair in March 2017.
Affordable Cherry MX Gaming Keyboard
Its tenkeyless design makes the Corsair K63 smaller and lighter than a full-format keyboard, with dimensions as compact as 36.5 cm x 17.1 cm (14.37 in x 6.73 in). It is thus especially attractive for people with limited space at hand and those who appreciate a high level of mobility.
While the keyboard is significantly cheaper than some of Corsair’s other gaming keyboards, the buyer has to make due without extras such as a wrist rest or a USB passthrough. In addition, the casing is made of plastic rather than aluminium.
However, the Corsair Gaming K63 still has plenty to offer in spite of its low price. Thanks to its high-quality Cherry MX Red switches and full key rollover your inputs register fast and accurately. The Windows Key Lock mode ensures an uninterrupted gaming experience, and the keyboard’s neat multimedia controls allow you to adjust volume and playback. With the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) you can program individual keys and control the lighting. As only red LEDs are built in the keyboard, the lighting is monochrome. Nevertheless, it can by adjusted rather freely and supports numerous effects.
