Logitech is one of the most famous and most popular manufacturer of gaming keyboards and gaming mice, but so far there are only two mechanical keyboards available. The Logitech G910 Orion Spark is the current top model from the manufacturer.
The G910 is the first keyboard, which uses the new exclusive Logitech Romer-G Switches. These switches have a smaller actuation distance than most common switches and are built to allow fast reactions. Logitech clearly targets high performance gamers with this keyboard.
Logitech G910 Orion Spark Features
The new Romer-G Switches are not the only thing, that makes the Logitech G910 a unique gaming keyboard. The keyboard comes with an intelligent RGB illumination which enables flexible and individual backlighting for every single key.
The Arx Control and the integrated docking possibility allow you, to connect your iPhone or Android phone with the keyboard and use it to display several information on it.
Additionally, the Logitech G910 offers dedicated media controls and nine fully programmable macro keys. Logitech hasn’t specified any n-Rollover declaration, but promises full Anti-Ghosting for all 113 keys.
Just as the G710 Plus, the Logitech G910 Orion Spark also comes with an removable palm rest.
Differences: G910 Orion Spectrum vs Spark
The Logitech G910 is available in two variants: The Orion Spark was introduced in 2014 and features structured keycaps and an asymmetric palm rest. Many users didn’t like the keycaps which lead to Logitech introducing the G910 Orion Spectrum in 2016. This new version features smooth keycaps and a straight palm rest. All other properties and features stay the same for both keyboards. In the beginning, Logitech was selling both versions side-by-side, but eventually decided to discontinue the G910 Orion Spark and only sell the G10 Orion Spectrum.
