An illuminated keyboard is invaluable when working or playing in the dark. But even in bright daylight, backlit keyboards can be nice. Not only do they provide a practical benefit, they also create a unique atmosphere. For example, various companies (e.g. Corsair, Logitech, Razer) develop special software to synchronize the keyboard’s lighting with events in games.
